Karl’s Cottage in Cushing, Maine, is in a quiet wooded site nestled along the St George River. It is a relaxing place where you can sit on the large deck and watch the water life along the river. You can swim, fish or sea kayak in the water. It is only a 20 minute drive to Rockland and all the hustle and bustle there.The house has a living room with cathedral ceiling and is overlooking the deck along the water. There’s also a kitchen, dining area, full bathroom and master bedroom on the first floor. Upstairs are two more bedrooms which overlook the two story living room. The daylight basement is finished off and has a wet bar for entertaining. This is a fun relaxing place to enjoy a beautiful Maine day, week or more.

All rentals subject to Maine sales tax of 8.5%. A $250 security deposit is also required.

In the event that you must cancel your reservation, notify our office immediately by telephone, then follow up with a letter. Cancellations must be in writing and may be e-mailed or faxed. We will make every effort to re-rent the property, however we cannot guarantee re-rental. If you cancel before 30 days prior to your arrival and we are able to re-rent the property, all moneys (less cancellation fee of 25% of the reservation deposit) will be returned to you after our receipt of the re-booking payment. If we are unable to re-rent, the full advance payment will be forfeited. If cancellation is made within 30 days of occupancy, full rental moneys will be forfeited unless re-rented at the same rate and for the same dates. If property is re-rented the 25% cancellation fee applies.
