Property Description
The Hummer Cottage is on the Island of Spruce Head which is a working fishing village. One can watch the lobsterman come in with their catch in the afternoon from the Hummer Cottage's deck or from one of the large windows within. The cottage sits on a hill back one property from the water which gives it a great view yet peaceful and quiet. It is one floor living with a comfortable bedroom with twin beds, and a sofa bed for guests. There is a woodstove for charm and to take the chill off, or for convenience a Rinnai heater. Come, enjoy a relaxing Maine summer yet 10 minutes from Rockland and all the events.
Additional Rate Information:
All rentals subject to Maine sales tax of 8.5%. A $250 security deposit is also required.

In the event that you must cancel your reservation, notify our office immediately by telephone, then follow up with a letter. Cancellations must be in writing and may be e-mailed or faxed. We will make every effort to re-rent the property, however we cannot guarantee re-rental. If you cancel before 30 days prior to your arrival and we are able to re-rent the property, all moneys (less cancellation fee of 25% of the reservation deposit) will be returned to you after our receipt of the re-booking payment. If we are unable to re-rent, the full advance payment will be forfeited. If cancellation is made within 30 days of occupancy, full rental moneys will be forfeited unless re-rented at the same rate and for the same dates. If property is re-rented the 25% cancellation fee applies.
