About Us
Kinney Rentals is owned and operated by Sumner and Marjorie Kinney. They have been in business since 1984 in the Mid-coast area and have many years of experience in property management.
Sumner, a home town native of Spruce Head, Maine, received a degree in accounting from the University of Maine. He spearheads the accounting, bookkeeping, and oversees repairs by our staff of workmen.
Marjorie, a transplant from New Jersey, has been here 32 years and holds a real estate broker’s license. She shows the houses and apartments to prospective tenants, oversees the lease preparation, credit reports, and background checks.
Amber Hunt is our current assistant and has been working in this type of field for about 7 years. Amber lives in Warren, Maine. Amber brings with her youth and friendliness, and is knowledgeable in many aspects of our business.
Our mascots are Buffy, Cindy, and Chloe. They are mother, daughter, and grand daughter and are our comic relief.
